About
Hi visitor! I'm Tue Nguyen, currently a 4th year student studying Software Development in Toronto.
I've been programming for around 3 years now since I started my undergrad. In my free time, I usually pick up new languages/frameworks or concepts and explore how business can leverage technologies to solve both physical and technical problems
My current goal is to explore and implement microservice architecture using Amazon Web Services, C#, GraphQL, SolidJS (I think I'm bored of React). It'll be called WeGoJim for all the gym bros (it's gonna be overkilled and has meme design)
Below are the geeky stuff that I know well and use often

- Wrote small code interacting with DCC applications (Maya, Houdini)
Student Developer
Seneca`s Centre for Development of Open Technology (CDOT)- Maintain open-source project Telescope by managing issues, reviewing pull requests, help keep commit history clean with advanced Git
- Ported monolithic backend parsing RSS to a microservice, refactored to objects to talk to Supabase database, wrote unit tests and new end to end tests using Jest
- Utilized Bull`s queue to display information on jobs interacting with Redis database
- Worked on app`s mobile view using Next.js and fixed minor Docker issues
